the UZZELLs Wedding
As most of you have heard our wedding was the best day of our lives.
Welcome to the UZZELLs Wedding.
Everything came together just as I imagined and I couldn’t of been happier with seeing
my vision come to life. So I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures and thoughts with you.
I spent ten months planning and coordinating everything for the big day. I worked extremely hard to
make sure my colors, ideas, and choices fit together and would look like they belonged at a Designer Wedding.
I did everything by myself for the wedding with a lot of help from my Mom (thanks Mom!).
My vision from start to finish was a dreamy white wedding with very little color. I wanted everything to be clean
whites with fresh greens and rosemary accented with pewter, dark grey, silvers, and dark wood tones.
My stationary was white and pewter grey with hand calligraphy and capital letters.
And I did the calligraphy, design, and made the stationary myself.
Executing this wedding was one of the most wonderful things I have ever done in my life.
Every stressful moment was worth it when I walked down the aisle
and saw all my hardwork and designs come to life on October 1, 2016.
I was so lucky to work with so many wonderful vendors that really made the day what it was.
Without them the Uzzells Wedding would not of been perfect and so magical.
I couldn’t reccomend ALL of the following Vendors more, they were perfection.

Our florals were literal perfection. They were full of so much greenery and lots of rosemary.
My vision for my boquet was all white roses and white ranunculus with rosemary and euacalyptus
leaves and other greens. My vision for the Bridesmaids boquets was mostly beautiful greenery,
rosemary, and one white large bloom right in the center.
I’ll say it again, perfection.
The car we rode up to the Ceremony in was so cool. We actually drove in my dads car first,
switched right before the Ceremony and pulled up. This was one of the most fun things
we did for our wedding and it was so special to ride with my dad and my uncle/godfather
driving us. AU and I also left on the back of the car and rode into the night once we were married.
The car was so old and SO COOL, see below at our exit as well.
The ceremony was simple and beautiful with the old wooden barn as our backdrop.
I chose to use white barn drapes, a centered chandelier and large white and green floral
swags on the ties of the drapes. Our unity candle was also the perfect center piece for our Ceremony.
After our wonderful Ceremony we went straight into pictures and
I just love the group shot below of all of our wedding party, our colors and florals.
Taking our portaits was one of my favorite parts of the night. We got to spend some
time together and just laugh and kiss until we met up with everyone for the Reception.
Once the Reception started we were so ready to see everyone and thank them all for coming.
I have never felt as much love and joy from all the important people in our lives on that day.
It is such an incredible feeling to know that all these people were there
to celebrate AU and I and our marriage. It truly was magical.
Our cake was also perfection. It looked exactly the way I wanted, half naked with a
huge sprig of rosemary right on top. It was clean, simple, and beautiful and the taste was out of this world.
The cake was vanilla with chocolate mousse and vanilla buttercream and it was delicious. Best cake ever.
The dancing and karaoke at our Reception was one of my favorite parts of the whole day.
We laughed, sang, and danced ALL NIGHT. I think everyone was dancing at one point and we all just had a blast.
When it was time for our sparkler exit it also felt so magical. We jumped into the car and rode away.
We ended up having my other uncle drive us home and he decided we needed to do another lap
around the house after our first exit. It was such a blast and a great memory to end the best day of our lives.
All I can say is what a whirlwind this past year was. We have so many wonderful
memories with friends and family and were so lucky to have the wedding of our dreams.
Now here’s to our beautiful married life together with our baby puppy.
Much love,
