These steak kabobs are made with high quality top sirloin from your local grocery Butcher.
They’re simply prepared with salt and pepper once cubed.
Real magic comes in with this blended fragrant fresh red pepper sauce. Red peppers are charred until black under the broiler, softened and peeled.
Bunched cilantro leaves, fresh lemon juice, cumin and coriander are added in for maximum taste.
Once the steak is “grilled” indoors using a grill pan, the charred steak works effortlessly with the charred red pepper sauce.
You can taste the steaks natural flavors and the light seasoning as an accompaniment.
These Steak Kabobs with Fire Roasted Red Pepper Sauce are basically summer on a plate.

RED PEPPER SAUCE
- -2 RED PEPPERS
- -1/4 CUP CILANTRO LEAVES
- -1/8 CUP EVOO
- -3/4 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE, FRESH
- -3/4 TEASPOONS CORIANDER
- -3/4 TEASPOONS CUMIN
- -1/4 TEASPOON RED PEPPER FLAKES
STEAK
- -1 LB TOP SIRLOIN STEAK, CUT INTO 1” CUBES
- -S&P
- -8 WOODEN SKEWERS
Instructions
RED PEPPER SAUCE
- -CUT RED PEPPERS INTO TWO PIECES, REMOVE SEEDS AND INSIDES
- -PLACE PEPPERS SKIN SIDE UP ON A FOIL BAKING SHEET, PRESS DOWN WITH HAND TO FLATTEN
- -BROIL IN OVEN FOR 10-12 MINUTES UNTIL BLACKENED, KEEP YOUR EYE ON THESE
- -PUT PEPPERS INTO A BROWN PAPER BAG AND CLOSE TIGHTLY FOR 20 MINUTES
- -REMOVE PEPPERS AND RUB OFF CHAR AND PEEL
- -COMBINE PEPPERS AND ALL OTHER SAUCE INGREDIENTS IN A BLENDER, BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH
STEAK
- -THREAD STEAK CUBES ONTO 8 SKEWERS
- -SEASON WITH S&P
- -GRILL STEAK IN A GRILL PAN OR GRILL RACK FOR 8 MINUTES IN TOTAL (MEDIUM RARE) ONLY TURN ONCE
- -SERVE WITH SAUCE
