OCTOBER BEAUTY FAVORITES

Welcome to ALF, today we’re talking about my October Beauty Favorites.

I have always loved makeup and loved trying new products until I find “the one”. If I’m being totally honest, I’m that girl who buys all the new cool stuff, all the promoted stuff and tries it out.

But then what I actually take time to do is become brand loyal and stick with the products that I find valuable and that actually work for me.

So today I wanted to share some honest information about a couple products that are perfect for Fall!

Gimme Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel

03 Medium Neutral Light Brown- Benefit Cosmetics

Eyebrows are my one thing that I’m always working on. It’s no secret I get my eyebrows dyed but the week afterwards it starts to fade. Introducing the best eyebrow gel there is, the Gimme Brow. Bobbi Brown, and ELF products were not working for me and causing too much makeup to streak my eyebrows. Also all the pencils always seem to look fake and like I’ve drawn in my eyebrows.

This Benefit Cosmetics Eyebrow gel is the perfect color and actually adds little natural fibers to your brow in sparse areas to help thicken them and give them some more color! It’s such a natural look and is super easy to apply when you have no eyebrow knowledge.

Nars Velvet Matte Lipstick Pencil

Bahama- NARS

Lipsticks are totally worth the price in my opinion. I love a good matte lip and it’s all I wear these days to be honest.

These lipstick pencils are perfect and easy to apply. The color stays true through eating and drinking and keeps a good color on the lip. Bahama is my first favorite color and it’s a little darker for Fall. Bettina is my second favorite which is a little lighter and more neutral. Either one is literally perfection and I always have these in my bag.

Texturizing Spray

Kristin Ess

Texturizing spray is literally what all people with thin hair need, aka me. Unfortunately I don’t really like any other Kristin Ess products, but this one is the best.

I use it on straight hair but mostly when I curl my hair. The texture is the best blend, it doesn’t crisp your hair and it also has a nice hold to it. Use this on dry hair by the way.

Winter Jewels Palette

Holiday 2017- BeautyCounter

This is the only BeautyCounter product I own but I looooove this palette. For Fall the eyeshadow colors are perfect and I love that it has a blush, highlighter, and bronzer all in one.

Each color pigment is present when used and it’s not a cheap palette with see through colors. This palette literally goes everywhere with me and it’s all in one. 

BeautyCounter is also a safe brand that uses regulated ingredients so you feel good about using this makeup all over your face!

Beauty Blender Sponge

Real Techniques

Beauty Blenders are my go to for makeup application. This one is perfect for foundation and concealer. I use the small side for concealer and the thicker side for foundation. The outcome is a perfect smooth application and this beauty blender doesn’t suck up all your liquid makeup!
