OAT and HONEY GRANOLA PIE

Holidays are always the best times to make delicious homemade pies.
My favorite is this Oat and Honey Granola Pie.
This Oat and Honey Granola Pie is made with Oat’s and Honey Nature Valley granola bars crumbled up with oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips.
The pie is baked to a golden brown perfection and has a sweet and crunchy filling. I have to say this is by far my favorite pie I have ever had and the most delicious, of course.
This Oat and Honey Granola Pie has been made in our family for quite some time now. It’s definitely a go to for us.
I decided to make it for Thanksgiving this year, my first Thanksgiving spent away from my family and with my now FIANCE!!
I served my pie with a cute little mason jar of whipped cream, but this is just as delcious served warm with vanilla ice cream.
One of my absolute obsessions is eating a warm and gooey dessert with melted vanilla ice cream running down the sides.
You could refer to this Ultimate Chocolate Chip Oreo Brownies recipe for some photography documentation and deliciousness of warm chocolate dessert with melted ice cream.
This type of pie is filled with lots of goodies on the inside and has a slight crunch from the granola bars. I love pies that actually have something inside of them and some texture.
I used walnuts as my nut in this pie but pecans would work just at beautifully and do the same job!
