NEW YEAR BOOK LIST- 2019
Another new year has started and we’re introducing something fun and different to the blog; New Year Book List- 2019.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!
(As an Amazon Affiliate, I may earn from links).
A new year’s goal this year was to Read More. Last year it was to Read Five Books and we accomplished that. So instead of putting a number on the amount in 2019, we’re just saying we really want to read more.
We read some pretty incredible books last year that we wanted to share with you and spread the love. And also share our wishlist for this year of the top five books we WANT to read, how fun!
We’re always looking for book recommendations out there so we wanted to tell you what we found and send a GREAT book list your way!
Let’s get started.

BOOKS READ & LOVED IN 2018:
A super thrilling read that you literally can’t put down or stay up until 5 AM finishing one night, true story.
Could not put this one down either and it has an AWESOME twist in it.
If you’re into a title like this, that’s all you need to know!
What we loved about this one is that you’re left guessing what is actually going on but really need to wait to keep reading to find out. We’re definitely into books that are unpredictable.
This one was a totally different read all about the Golden State Killer. It’s long but so worth it.
BOOK WISH LIST FOR 2019:
This is first on our list and already downloaded and started! So far, we are loving it.
We’re super intrigued about this one as something different to our usual genre.
The movie looks great but we’re trying to keep it old school and read the book first, can’t wait for this one!
This one is on Reese Witherspoon’s book list so you just know it’s going to be a good read.
Lastly, this one is on a couple best seller lists and also recommended by Reese Witherspoon as a book you can’t put down!
We’re so excited to get started on our list. Tell us, are any of these your favorites or on your list for 2019 too?
Reading is so good for the soul (and your vocabulary!)
Much love,
Susan
Add “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens. Just finished and could not put it down. On my reading list, this comes highly recommended: “Educated: A Memoir” by Tara Westover.
Amber Knight Uzzell
Great recommendations, thank you!
