We love the boxed kind with the orange powder (don’t even start with me if you don’t), we love this White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, The Best Comfort Mac & Cheese, this Beer Macaroni & Cheese, and this Pimiento Mac & Cheese.
You name it, we love it!
But THIS Instant Pot Mac & Cheese is not like any of the others. It’s creamier, it’s made in one single pot (One Pot’s are the actual best), and it has this incredible flavor from the Instant Pot.

The elbow noodles are actually cooked in a mixture of broth and heavy cream which give them this buttery texture before real butter is even added. A velvet cheesy mouthwatering masterpiece in your mouth.
After the noodles are cooked to al dente; butter and shredded white cheddar cheese are mixed in to add ooey gooeyness that is necessary for all great mac & cheese’s.
And did we mention it’s all cooked in one pot?!?! What is better than that when it’s cold outside, you want something comfortable and warm, and above all: fast!

Ingredients
- 2 CUPS ELBOW NOODLES
- 1 CUP BONE BROTH (OR CHICKEN BROTH)
- 1 CUP HEAVY CREAM
- 2 CUPS SHREDDED WHITE CHEDDAR CHEESE (OR SHARP CHEDDAR)
- 1/2 STICK BUTTER, CUT INTO 4 PIECES
- S&P
Instructions
- PLACE NOODLES, CREAM, AND BROTH IN THE INSTANT POT
- SEASON WITH S&P
- CLOSE INSTANT POT LID, TURN VALVE TO THE UPPER LEFT “SEALED” POSITION
- CLICK “MANUAL” AND SET TO 7 MINUTES
- ONCE TIMER HAS STOPPED, USE THE BACK OF A WOODEN SPOON AND OPEN THE VALVE TO RELEASE STEAM BY PULLING IT TOWARDS YOU
- ONCE “PRESSURE PIN” HAS DROPPED AND ALL STEAM IS RELEASED, OPEN LID
- MIX IN BUTTER GENTLY WITH SHREDDED CHEESE
- SERVE WITH MORE CHEESE ON TOP!
