The cinnamon sugar pecan layer is the perfect amount of sweetness and spiciness without overpowering the vanilla moist cake. It’s layered once in the middle of the batter in the bundt cake pan and baked with more delicious batter on top.

Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 1 YELLOW BOXED CAKE MIX
- 4 LARGE EGGS
- 8 OUNCES SOUR CREAM, LIGHT
- 3/4 CUP VEGGIE OIL
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- STREUSAL:
- 6 TABLESPOONS BROWN SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP PECANS, CHOPPED
- 3 TEASPOONS GROUND CINNAMON
- ICING:
- 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR, HEAPED
- 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER, MELTED
- 1 TABLESPOON MILK
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
Instructions
- CAKE:
- PREHEAT 350 F DEGREES
- IN A STAND MIXER OR WITH A HAND MIXER, COMBINE BOXED CAKE MIX AND SUGAR
- MAKE A WELL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MIXTURE AND POUR IN OIL AND SOUR CREAM
- MIX TOGETHER ON LOW
- SPRAY A BUNDT PAN WITH SPRAY AND COOK AND SPRINKLE WITH FLOUR
- POUR HALF THE AMOUNT OF BATTER INTO THE BUDNT PAN
- SPRINKLE THE CAKE BATTER WITH STREUSEL MIXTURE EVENLY
- BAKE FOR 45 MINUTES UNTIL A KNIFE OR BAKING STICK COMES OUT CLEAN
- LET SIT FOR 15 MINUTES IN THE BUNDT PAN AND FLIP OUT ONTO A PLATE OR CAKE PAN
- ONCE COOL, DRIZZLE WITH ICING
- STREUSAL:
- MIX SUGAR, PECANS, AND CINNAMON
- SET ASIDE
- ICING:
- COMBINE POWDERED SUGAR, BUTTER, MILK, AND VANILLA IN A SMALL BOWL UNTIL SMOOTH
