CHICKEN MEATBALLS & SPAGHETTI
These easy baked CHICKEN MEATBALLS & SPAGHETTI are so juicy with crisped edges tossed in a tasty tomato basil garlic sauce.
I’ll be the first to admit that regular meatballs are not a favorite of mine, save the gasps please.
They’re just not the best tasting things that exist in this world (I know, you probably disagree) BUT these are a different story.
These babies right here are a whole different ball game.
Juicy, tender, crispy on the edges and full of breadcrumbs and flavors, these are amazing.
Tossed with a simple tomato basil pasta sauce from Trader Joes, these little mini meatballs are perfect for a quick dinner.
Baking these chicken meatballs instead of frying them makes them extremely healthier.
This meal comes together in less than an hour and can be ready in a snap.
Pair the mini chicken meatballs and tomato sauce with the whole wheat spaghetti, also from Trader Joe’s, and you’re meal is set.
We consistently stock a few items from Trader Joe’s including the Tomato Basil Garlic tomato sauce and the wheat spaghetti.
We also add a few of our own little tasties to the sauce to increase flavor.
We usually add:
– minced garlic
– fresh basil leaves
– oregano
– Italian seasoning
– red wine
Top the tossed Chicken Meatballs & Spaghetti with shredded parmesan and basil then you’re ready to serve.

Ingredients
MEATBALLS
- - 1 LB GROUND CHICKEN
- - 1 EGG
- - 1/2 CUP GRATED PARMESAN
- - 2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
- - 1/2 TEASPOON GARLIC POWDER
- - 1/2 TEASPOON ONION POWDER
- - 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
- - PEPPER
SPAGHETTI
- - 1 PACK WHOLE WHEAT SPAGHETTI
- - 1 JAR TOMATO BASIL GARLIC PASTA SAUCE
- - 1/2 TEASPOON MINCED GARLIC
- - 1/4 CUP RED WINE
- - OREGANO, ITALIAN SEASONING TO TASTE
- - BASIL TO SERVE
- - PARMESAN TO SERVE
Instructions
MEATBALLS
- - PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES AND COVER A BAKING SHEET IN TINFOIL, SPRAY WITH COOKING SPRAY
- - MIX ALL MEATBALL INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL, USE YOUR HANDS
- - ROLL MEATBALLS INTO 30 MINI SIZED ROUND BALLS
- - BAKE ON BAKING SHEET FOR 25-30 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
SPAGHETTI
- - WHILE MEATBALLS ARE BAKING, COMBINE TOMATO SAUCE, GARLIC, WINE, AND SEASONINGS IN A MEDIUM SAUCE PAN, HEAT UNTIL COMBINED
- - COOK SPAGHETTI ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS
- - COMBINE SPAGHETTI, TOMATO SAUCE, AND MEATBALLS TOGETHER, GARNISH WITH BASIL AND PARMESAN
