CHEESE FONDUE
This was some of the best cheese fondue I have ever had. Austin provided this recipe and made this fondue. I have to give him major credit for this one.
But I still wanted to blog about it to share the amazing experience and the pictures (that we took on Austin’s phone).
In this one I focused on the cheese, not the garlic.
This was so yummy. We dug in with a loaf of bread (picture below). We almost ate all of it. I literally mean all of it.
The cheese and wine was so tasty. We had to warm it up a few times by putting it back on the stove. Not a big deal though.
I still have some wine left over so guess who is making some more of this!
Hopefully this weekend. I can;t even wait.
The cheese is so goooooooooooood. Look at it.
Our thrown together recipe:
1/2 block gruyere cheese
the same amount of swiss cheese
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup white pinot grigio wine
Rub the garlic over the pot and leave it in the pot to cook. Turn the heat to low and add wine. Let the wine warm up and mix with garlic cloves.
Add cheese in small amounts and let melt constantly stirring.
Keep adding cheese until all is mixed and melted!!!!
Yes we finished the whole thing.
