This pasta dish went viral on Tik Tok (video app) this year and for good reason.

It’s an extremely simple list of ingredients with an extremely simple method of cooking.
Think level one easy!

And not to mention it’s absolutely delicious.

What more do we need to say?!

We took the viral pasta recipe and switched it up just a bit as we tend to do. We made it slightly better and even more delish with more feta and juicy tomatoes and OF COURSE more garlic.

This Baked Feta Pasta is one big block of feta, two pints of gourmet tri-color baby tomatoes, fresh garlic cloves, red pepper flakes, noodles, salt and pepper! That’s literally it. Oh and a little bit of pasta water to make it extra creamy saucy.

We’re in love and have already made it multiple times!

One the feta is baked, hence BAKED Feta Pasta, the feta is soft and bubbly and creates a mouthwatering sauce with the roasted juicy tomatoes. It’s so tasty and can be made quickly for dinner.

Garnish it off with fresh sliced basil and feel fancy AF!

Baked Feta Pasta

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes
Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 16 OZ FETA BLOCK NOT CRUMBLED!
  • 16 OZ BOWTIE PASTA NOODLES
  • 2X 10 OZ PINTS TRI-COLOR BABY TOMATOES
  • 6 CLOVES FRESH GARLIC SLICED IN HALF OR FOURTHS
  • 1/2 CUP OLIVE OIL GOOD QUALITY
  • 1/2 TEASPOON RED PEPPER FLAKES
  • SEA SALT
  • FRESH BLACK PEPPER
  • FRESH BASIL
  • 1/2-1 CUP COOKED PASTA WATER

Instructions

  • PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES F.
  • COMBINE TOMATOES, SLICED GARLIC AND 1/4 CUP OLIVE OIL IN A 9X13" BAKING DISH, TOSS TOGETHER.
  • PLACE FULL FETA BLOCK IN CENTER OF DISH, PUSH TOMATOES AROUND IT. POUR REST OF OLIVE OIL ON FETA. TOP WITH RED PEPPER FLAKES, A LITTLE SPRINKLE OF SEA SALT AND FRESH CRACKED BLACK PEPPER.
  • BAKE FOR 40 MINUTES. WHILE BAKING, COOK PASTA NOODLES IN SLIGHTLY SALTED WATER.
  • REMOVE BAKING DISH AND SMOOSH FETA AND TOMATOES UNTIL THEY BURST. MIX GENTLY TOGETHER UNTIL COMBINED. ADD IN 1/2 CUP PASTA WATER TO MAKE SAUCIER. ADD 1/2 CUP MORE IF NEEDED. TOSS IN NOODLES AND MIX GENTLY AGAIN.
  • GARNISH WITH FRESH BASIL!

Notes

FETA IS VERY SALTY SO BE MINDFUL OF NOT ADDING TOO MUCH EXTRA SALT. YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD MORE BUT CAN’T TAKE AWAY ONCED ADDED!
